The people behind Orange Submarine

Orange Submarine was built by two people who'd spent the better part of 30 years selling, scaling, and occasionally breaking B2B software businesses.

We'd both seen the same problem from different sides: great products that couldn't get to market. First sales hires that burned cash and left. Agencies that charged retainers, delivered spreadsheets, and called it pipeline.

Orange Submarine is what we built when we decided to do it properly.

Paul has spent the last 15 years in and around B2B software sales, building teams, closing deals, and working out what actually drives revenue versus what just looks like it does.

He's built and led seven sales teams, sold over $1.5B of B2B software across the UK, USA and internationally, and had enough "first sales hire" conversations to know exactly why that hire usually goes wrong, and what to do instead.

Orange Submarine started with a simple question: what would a sales and marketing operation look like if you built it today, from scratch, with the best AI tools available, rather than retrofitting AI onto a process designed ten years ago? The OS Engine is the answer to that question.

Paul runs the commercial strategy, the product partnerships, and the go-to-market motion. He's also the voice behind most of the outbound sequences the OS Engine sends, because the one thing AI can't replicate is 30 years of knowing what a buyer actually needs to hear.

Antony brings the operational and commercial infrastructure that turns a good idea into a real business. Where Paul is in the market, Antony is making sure the business behind it is built correctly.

He has spent his career building and investing in ambitious UK businesses, with a track record across operations, commercial development, and early-stage company building. He knows what separates the businesses that scale from the ones that stall, and he's applied that to Orange Submarine from day one.

Antony handles the company's legal and financial infrastructure, investor relationships, and the governance framework that lets Orange Submarine operate at pace without cutting corners. He's also the reason we're commission-only: he's seen too many agency models that charge regardless of results, and he had no interest in building another one.

He invested in Orange Submarine because he believes the AI-native distribution model is structurally superior to anything that's come before it, and because he wanted to back a team that'd actually been in the rooms it's trying to get back into.
